|| frère nicéphore lamarque || || enthusiastic || irenic || naive || devout ||friends friends friends friends friends friends friends friends friendsNicéphore would like to ber everyone's friend and brother, but that is, as even he knows, not so easy to achieve. Those up high might look down on him, and find him a peculiar waste of space, but he still would strife to be on good terms with everybody. You can't really be truly mad at him either, he's just too... enthusiastic and innocent. Each and every soul are brothers and sisters in Christ, and so he will treat everybody as his brother or sister, whether they want it or not. enemies enemies enemies enemies enemies enemies enemies enemiesHe would be shocked to find he has enemies! But someone like him is bound to alienate people, even though it would grieve him to know it. Why are there even enemies in this world? Shouldn't we all love and look out for each other? Hatred is never the answer to anything, and ill feelings need to be appeased. 'If I have failed you, brother, tell me so I may repent and seek reconciliation!' lovers lovers lovers lovers lovers lovers lovers lovers lovers lovers This one is easy. He has taken the vows, his love belongs to God and all his creation. He loves everyone in a brotherly way, and that is all there ever will be to it. Not to mention that sometimes he feels a little uncomfortable around women, since he remembers a life before he took the cloth. Credit goes to lockkeyfree @ TSL. [/center]

Well, Chauvelin wouldn't hate the good brother, but I doubt he'd really be friends with Nicéphore, either. He's an atheist with enough black marks on his soul that he'd better hope there isn't a God, anyway. He'd tolerate the man and maybe even help him out of trouble, if he can and it's not too far out of his way.

*bigeyes* Atheist with black marks on his soul?! My, you'd be the perfect victim for Nicephore's plan of repentence! He'd surely try to steer you back to the flock that is God's devout children, you poor erring lamb, just like the good shepherd he wants to be! Seriously, I think these two would be so funny Let's have 'em meet and Nicephore can drive Chauv up the wall

LOL. Sounds good to me. In fact, practically everyone that he cares about (and who cares about him) is devout. I'm starting to suspect a conspiracy ...
Or an intervention. ;D ;)v ;D

DIVINE intervention, surely Could I ask you to start something for them? I'll be pretty internet-absent for the weekend, sadly, idiot that I am ^^ you could maybe set a certain mood that would encourage Nicephore to approach him and ask whatever ails him or such

Hmmm. I can try. I'll ponder what Chauv might be doing and where that might get Nicephore's attention. He doesn't usually sit around crying into his beer (at least in public ;>) and he's very tight-lipped about his personal life. So it would probably have to be some obvious situation where Chauv has a decision to make and Nicephore would want him to pick the less-palatable-to-Paul option.

Hey there! So, fun fact. Azelma has spent her years growing up begging on the steps of the church. Over those years she has grown fond of the idea of religion and its teachings...but she has no idea where to begin. She would never go to someone directly seeking help, but maybe he could notice her and offer some religious guidance? I can see her running to him for confession after she becomes closer to God and commits her father's crimes. Thoughts?

Sooooo...Musa's never been particularly devout, the girl is the mistress of two men at the same time after all xD But at the same time, with two of the people she loves involved in the Revolution, I can see her perhaps turning to God in desperation just to keep them safe. It would be a difficult choice for her...but once she realises they are not going to quit when she asks them, she's going to turn elsewhere.

Nicephore&Azelma: OH, I like that idea... or Nicephore likes it! He'd be delighted to know that the daughter doesn't want to be caught in her father's crimes, and he would surely give her assistance, if he sees her on the street. He's that kind, he doesn't ASK if people want his help He just gives it Nice&Musa: He would probably feel a little unsure around her, if he knew about her lifestyle. Nice's had a life before he took the cloth, and the she would remind him of this life. I could see this to be cute... I d like to give him a little inward struggle in helping her with his former life waving at him^^ OH! I'm just having an idea. I was going to get Nicephore to the barricades to die there when he tries to stop the violence and throws himself between Guard and Barricade, so maybe her sorrows will only incite him more. It might even give him fuel for his last desperate speech which I am sooo already working on in my head

Oooh, yeah, I like this! I can see her asking him a lot to "do something about it". She'd probably admit her lifestyle to him right from the off, save any awkward conversations later if he asks her why she wants him to help her xD Oh...I can see her being so guilt ridden about that if he dies, she'd blame herself for asking for help and all...buuuut, I really like that idea, it would make for an awesome thread.
