As is its name, the Palais de Justice is a place for convicting those who have committed crimes against France. The Conciergerie is also contained within these walls, a huge prison which many traitors to France have been imprisoned.

THE ELEPHANT OF THE BASTILLE
Erected by Napoleon, the Great Elephant – a statue so monumental that visitors could climb inside through a staircase in one of its legs, and up to a tower on its back is the home of many street children around Paris.
