Free Falling (Cosette's plotter)

[COSETTE FAUCHELEVENT]

Cosette is the adopted daughter of Jean Valjean, although she is not aware of his real name or his past, or even that she is not his true child. She remembers nothing of her past with the Thénardiers or the abuse she suffered at their hands, and believes that she spent the majority of her life at a convent. Vaguely she remembers her mother and she doesn't understand why her 'father' will not tell her about her or why he insists they move so often.

She is a sweet, demure, and obedient young woman who wishes to please her 'father' in all things, but she thinks he still treats her like a child and longs for more freedom than he allows her. She also wishes she could tell him about Marius Pontmercy, whom she has fallen in love with. Cosette sneaks away to be with Marius every chance she gets, but she is a bit disturbed by his recent talk of revolution. She believes in freeing the poor from oppression, even though her own welfare is currently unaffected, but she wishes it could be done without violence.

Anyway, that's Cosette in a nutshell. I am looking for threads of all kinds for her, with all kinds of characters. So plot with Cosette and let's have some fun.

Soo, I have a few charries I could throw at you, some more some less likely to meet Cosette:

Bahorel:
He probably saw Cosette once or twice with Marius, and as he's a lady's man and naturally curious, he'd like to know what sort of girl would make his friend forget all about the revolution. So maybe the two of them could have a few run-ins?

Mylène:
As the barmaid of the ABC café and good friend of Ponine,she knows quite a few things that happen around the Amis. She also knows that Ponine loves Marius, so that might turn her against the higher class gonzesse she thinks Cosette is. Given Mylène's background, she looks down on lacy-dressed girls who live in fine houses and have basically everything they could wish for, so should these two cross paths, she'd not stay quiet for long. Especially she would tell Cosette not to distract Marius (also so that Ponine may have him ^^)

Frère Nicephore:
This my charrie has only a day more to live, plotwise But I'd like to think these two could have crossed paths in the past. Nicephore is Lamarque's son, he's been with the Franciscan monks for a few years now and he's an ardent pacifist and do-gooder, also very naive in the process. He would constantly preach the absence of violence and often goes down into the slums of Paris to care for the sick and the poor - though he does think things need to change, a revolution in his eyes is the worst way to go about it. As Cosette also often gives alms, maybe they know each other from that?

I love all of these ideas.

Bahorel & Cosette: I definitely think they should run into each other. Cosette would love to meet some of Marius' friends, and learn more about him through them. So yeah, we should just throw them together and see what happens.

Mylène & Cosette: These two should be fun. Cosette would not understand why Mylène doesn't like her. It would be a new experience for her, since she has been sheltered for the part of her life that she can remember. And if Mylène tells her to stay away from Marius, it would give Cosette an opportunity to show a bit of backbone. I think they would clash quite well.

Nicephore & Cosette: Poor dude, with only one more day to live. I would love them to know each other so that she can mourn him when he's gone. Having grown up with nuns, Cosette would be comfortable around monks. Perhaps she consults him on how best she can help the poor and maybe they kind of work together? We could do a past thread, perhaps, or even one that takes place on his last day.
