A sunny day like usual, Enjolras was planning to relax today, on the Cafe. Sitting, relaxing and reading some news would be a good combination for the day. Birds were flying around, they felt freedom, a rare thing that french people couldn't get. He was in the Latin Quarter, and heading to ABC Cafe. He passed a crowded street, and finally, arrived at the ABC Cafe. He was standing in front of the Cafe, and he entered the cafe.
The door opened, and he stepped forward. He entered the cozy and warm cafe, he sat on his favorite place in the corner. He sat and ordered a cup of coffee, he raised his leg and put it on the table. He took the newspaper on the table, and opened it. He was reading the news carefully, examining the situation in France. Hmm, let’s see. What news for today? He whispered. He switched between pages, and something got his attention. The Revolutionaries couldn't stand the power of the Government, A heading on the paper.
He got mad, and he slammed his hand on the table. The table was shaking, and the coffee spilled a little. What we need to do now? The king must fall. He said with his anger. He tried to calm down, and he drank the coffee. It’s relaxing. Enjolras relaxed after drinking the coffee. He called the waiter for a napkin, he cleaned the table, and sat again. He was thinking, he needed to find a way to stop this cruelty. He was looking to the sky through the windows, he saw all the people around, who suffered, and tried to survive.
Even children suffered, he couldn't stand watching all the misery in this nation. He looked away from the windows, and he crossed his arm, he relaxed his back on the chair, stretched his legs, and inhale the oxygen in the air. He prayed for some help, and he needed some inspiration. He could feel something would inspire him on this thing, what he could do for now is wait. Every minute he spent there must be worth.

It was a long shift, eight hours of wiping tables and serving drinks certainly did things to one mind. Lucille scowled across the room as several more customers entered the café, she had hoped to have a quiet shift, but it seemed as the day went on more people drifted to the little café in the Latin Quarter of Paris. She watched from her corner at the bar as a familiar face entered the little café. She’d seen him before, with a larger group of young men. They were regulars at the little café and it was to her understanding that they aimed to change the world. Well France first. Then -no doubt- the world.
From her little corner at the bar she’d watched as the group had come and gone, spouting their ideas of Liberty, Equality and Fraternity. She couldn’t help but smile at the foolish words they uttered, no world could ever exist and Lucille couldn’t understand why the men would even try. It seemed like a futile attempt to her.
As she cleaned glasses, she watched from her corner, one of the older members of the group. It was clear from the way he was acting, whatever he was reading in his paper did not impress him. She watched as one of the café staff cleared up the remains of his coffee he had knocked over. What Lucille could not understand was why Mylie was so interested in this group of people. Lucille shuddered, even Mylies name made the anger rise inside of her. The girl who had joined the troop with her gymnastic act…who had made her fan dancing look so dull in comparison. Suddenly, the art of fan dancing, which had been passed down among her people for hundreds of years was nothing special. Her act which took years to perfect was simple, in comparison to walking on a piece of string. Lucille slammed her fist on the bar. Damn the girl!
Now she was making eyes at the boys here, she had a family in those boys. Lucille couldn’t bare the thought of Mylie having close friends, not after she had destroyed the little family Lucille had in the travelling troop. Deciding it was time to take a step further forward; Lucille quickly set to work making another coffee. She would show Mylie…
Carefully, Lucille carried the coffee over to the table where the young man sat, ‘careful sir,’ she warned as she placed the coffee down, ‘It’s very hot,’ she explained. ‘On the house,’ she offered, ‘can’t have a regular like you going without.’ She said kindly.
It was unlike Lucille to make small talk with customers, and the coffee would come out of her pitiful wages, but she couldn’t miss an opportunity to get acquainted with one of the ABC members.

His fingers were tapping on the table, he was sweating, he couldn't think any single idea. His feet were tapping too, his heart was beating faster. He was thinking and reflecting himself, what he must do for the people. The coffee in his previous cup was empty, he waited for another coffee to come. Finally, the coffee came. A barmaid approached him with his coffee, Thank you so much. He said to the barmaid. The coffee smell so good, and Enjolras was happy with that. He was sure that the coffee taste was good too. He tasted it. Hmm, a fine coffee, Ms..? Enjolras stopped at the Ms. part.
He didn't know her name. He looked at her name tag that was attached on her clothes. Oh, Ms. Lucille. The coffee was good like your name, too. He said to the barmaid, complimenting her. The coffee helped Enjolras to think better, he decided he would spend his time here, and waited for some of his friends came. Maybe his friends could give him some ideas. His friends also an important key in this revolution. They could help Enjolras to break through the line of defense of the French Government. He knew that his friends were on the barricades. The barricades were an important place, it was destroyed by the Soldiers, but, ABC managed to repair it. It took like 2 days to fix it.
He also tried to talk with Ms. Lucille. The barmaid looked like she could be an important source. Maybe he could make some friends too, and found some useful information from her. He looked back at Ms. Lucille. Hello, my name is Aurelien Enjolras, called me Enjolras. Nice to meet you, Ms. Lucille. If you like, you could accompany me here. Enjolras gave a warm smile. Please take a seat, Ms. Lucille. He asked Ms. Lucille. He moved the Coffee to the side of the table, he took a map from his pocket and placed it on the table, maybe he could use it later. He also took a small knife from his pocket, in case of emergency, he could use it for defense himself and the surrounding people.
