Irène Tremblay has got a temper. She joined the Sacred Heart because she believed she could be useful there, but her idea of useful doesn't always involve rolling bandages or making sure everyone has enough to eat; she would much prefer to wield a pistol and fight on the barricades or in the streets with the men. If anyone can get past her sharp exterior, they'll learn that she's a pretty good poet who could have had the heart of an artist if she grew up in different times.
Her friends would almost have to be the patient sort to get used both to her sharp tongue and her love of racing off to chase the riots. They'd also have to be clever or interesting enough that she doesn't lose patience with them. While she does let people call her Irène, she'd also be known as Charlot (the name she took on when she met the Sacred Heart) or Lottie, if anyone were call her by a pet name.
As to plots, I'm open to just about anything. I have nothing specifically planned out for her, so suggestions are welcome.

Hey there While reading through your app I got a little confused about the time. You write there that she joins the Sacred Heart AFTER the barricade, but we're not there yet... so do you want to play it out how she gets accepted into the group? For that sort of plottage I can offer Tybalt, he's sort of Henry's right hand man (in lack of a left hand ) and tries to keep the boy out of trouble. However, she'd have to do a VERY good job at convincing him of her worth and intentions, since he's very much against women charading about as men and wearing weapons. He finds it utterly ridiculous. That being said, these two probably will be a little like cat and dog. Tybalt doesn't believe in having to be 'interesting' and 'clever' so that people like him; if she ever showed any of that uppish attitude towards him, you can bet she'd get a serious dressing down. He believes in efficiency and in non-nonsense, having a hard time two times out of three convincing Henry that he's too much of an idealist and that his 'clever' plans might not work. He is sarcastic to a point though, so having someone around who can counter his cynical remarks might be interesting for him. For concrete plottage, maybe Tybalt meets her at the barricade, when the Sacred Heart comes to the rescue and we can see from there?

I probably got some of the dates mixed up a little; sorry about the confusion. Playing out how she gets accepted could be interesting.
Irène may be sharp-tongued, but she is genuine about wanting to "fight the good fight", whatever that fight may be. As for her worth, she's both a decent fighter and eager to prove herself, a combination that could either work in her favor or make people think that she's going to get herself killed before the month is out.
Having someone to butt heads with would, oddly enough, make her rather happy, and after a few decent arguments, she might even consider Tybalt something of a friend (not that that would keep her from snapping at him if she has the inclination to). Given their age difference, she might even look up to him for approval, since he's about the same age as her brother.
The plottage sounds good, and I'll find a way to get her to the barricade.

If shes around during the barricades, maybe these two could have a little meeting? Lucilles very cynical about the entire idea of revolution and is pretty much just trying to survive! Perhaps these two could bump into one another and we see where it goes? Did you have any ideas? xD

That does sound interesting. Irène would certainly be interested in knowing someone from a different culture, and she could certainly be persuaded to help Lucille survive (though she'll complain quite heartily about having to look after someone).
