Hello Fellow DYHTPS Members! Here is our July edition of our site newsletter, please be sure to read each section fully. We would like to thank everyone for continuing to participate on the site and hope you are enjoying the new events and plots! WANTED CHARACTERS – We have a lot of requested characters in the character requests board. If you are thinking about creating a character please consider one requested here. We most importantly require Sacred Heart, Pimpernel and Government related characters. MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS – It is very important that if you have more than once account, you are logging into all of them daily or whenever you can get online. This is to ensure you do not miss any important pms, but also to keep our daily site member count up, so continue to look as active as we are! THE ABSENCE THREAD – The absence thread can be located HERE. It is very important that if you think you will be away for more than three days, you post here! VOTING BUTTONS- Please be sure you click on the topsite buttons (located in the affiliates table at the bottom of the site) daily. usual reminder. THE SPOTLIGHT – I have decided to extend our current spotlight nominations to the 27th of July due to lack of nominations. Please try to nominate every month, as I’ve noticed the past month or two nominations have been low. The reason we conduct the spotlight in this way is to allow members to praise each other for the effort and talent they give to the site. I’d rather keep the system open this way, rather than closing them or having staff members pick every month. We want the spotlight to seem fair and not biased, so by keeping nominations open to all we hope to achieve this. If nominations continue to be low then we may have to revise this system. OUT OF CHARACTER – We would like to encourage members to use the out of character board more often. In this board you will find games and general chat thread where you can get to know new and old members. The games may also create plotting opportunities with characters you may not have thought about plotting with. Go on…have some fun! SUGGESTIONS – If you feel the site is missing something or you have something you would like to suggest/talk to a member of staff about, you are welcome to either pm a member of staff or use the suggestion thread located on the main forum under questions, suggestions and answers. SIGN UPS – It’s important you ensure the signups are updated with the correct information for each character you apply with. Please take a moment now to check the sign up thread have your correct information. THE BARRICADES – Our plot is moving swiftly forward and with it our characters now find themselves upon the barricades fighting for the right for freedom! Please be sure you sign up to the group thread and feel free to develop your own separate threads around this event. As always the events have a lowered word count in order for the plots to continue to be paced and fun! MAY DAY! |
