New Cbox

Hello All!
Just to let you know thanks to CC we now have a premium Chatbox. This means that you will have to log in to use the chatbox, to do so you just click ‘Profile’ and register your password. This means that we hopefully won’t be as inundated with Spambots as we previously have been. Also your username will be protected so no one else will be able to use the same name as you.

Other perks include auto refreshing, so you do not have to manually refresh the cbox, coloured names and the ability to remove your own posts. This is a great feature as it increases the sites security and also should be of more convenience to you as users. You shouldn’t have to re-login often after you have done the first time, so long as you allow your computer to remember your details.
If anyone has any questions please do ask.

There is no 'Profile' link on the Cbox for me. Somebody help?

At the bottom, it should say help * smilies * profile. If it says help * smilies * cbox instead, you hit cbox (I think).

My computer doesn't display the bottom of the Cbox at all. I don't know how to change it or fix it.

That means your screen resolution is too big, Laur You can edit that in your browser settings under Zoom. My problem however is that I can NOT register my password, because it says the name already has a password...which is not right... so unless I know this password, whatever it is, I cannot log in. Also the login window shows as white screen, I have to highlight things with my mouse to see anything at all. Until this is solved I cannot talk to you in the cbox it seems...

I've got massive problems too. Whenever I try to post in the cbox it pops up and tells me it fails until I sign up.. So I tried on IE and it gives me a blank white box with only a login button. Then I tried on Safari and it gave me the same thing but with a box to type in that won't actually let me type in it and a log in button... Help

*adds* I tred highlighting.. On IE it just keeps showing me the word password and won't take it.. on Safari it does the same but also tells me the name Beck is protected and if it's mine log in with my password to use it. So I tried and it said invalid password and also wouldn't show me what I was typing either and just gave me another box to do it over.... what the ...

I know what the issue is, i need to change the cbox colors from transparent so you can see the form correctly. Im rushing to work now, but will try to get it done asap when i get home! Sorry for the problem!

I'm not sure if you've tried to fix it but I am having the same issue.

I also tried to log in as Sousa and it says that profile is being used but my password is not working...

I had some trouble logging in, too, similar to what's being described above. I PMed Slayer asking her to set a password and PM it to me. Then the trick becomes getting it into the password box. I had to highlight the area above the button to find it, and even then it took two or three tries.

The pop up log in is now veiwable as Ive edited the cbox colors.

I can see all the login stuff now.. but it's still telling me that my login password is 'invalid' O.o

The only thing i can suggest is to type a username into the 'name section' of the cbox, maybe change it so your name is all caps or something and register a new password?

I don't quite understand though? I don't see how the name Beck can be password protected when I haven't set a password for it nor registered it and no one else on the site is using it? Why should I have to change it or use a different name when no one's using it.. That doesn't.. make sense to me? Not to be difficult or anything.. I just don't get it..
