...You know, with all the very damaged Amis, part of me really does want to have Feuilly trying to be strong for them. Because I'm sure he's more acquainted with death and losing friends than some of the others, because... well, a working-class 19th century orphan would see a lot of people die before even reaching adulthood. He'll certainly be affected, of course--but he's resilient and nobody has to know about nightmares, right? So I think this is a direction I want to take him in. And Victor wants the king to know he has no direct intention of dying! Though he's a very different sort of mentor than Nice haha.

Grantaire's fate is, as it should be, entirely dependent on that of Enjolras. Should he survive, I have very particular plans for him now that it seems as if I am allowed to have a life again that isn't monopolized by injuries to myself and family members.
