PERSONALITY: Genevieve is just as fiery as her bright red hair suggests. She has strong opinions and isn't afraid to speak them. She can be described as courageous. When faced with a challenge, she doesn't back down. She's determined to prove her point and is ready to fight for it. She's a headstrong girl. Her stubbornness can get her into some sticky situations. Genevieve isn't content on just being a demure little lady as she's expected to be. Nonetheless, she seeks to be as merry as she could and bring some light into a conversation. She's a naturally cheerful girl. Genevieve likes to bring a little light into some tough times.
She does have a serious side to her. Genevieve knows when to remain calm under the serious situations and will quickly try to find a solution. She's a clever girl and this comes in handy. Being a girl of noble breeding, she has to keep her wits about. She's got a sharp tongue that is often used to outsmart the other noble ladies. An observer at heart, Genevieve is quick to notice any changes. She relies on it. Being able to notice a change in a person's behavior may just help her out of a bad situation. One of the things that calmed her was music. It just relaxed her. She always felt at peace when she was at the piano. Some of the things that Genevieve enjoys are music, reading, and sweets. A little thing that she likes is to leave some of the noble women speechless but that's more of a hobby. She absolutely detests it when people are lying. It's just something that makes her angry.
APPEARANCE: Genevieve has a rather untraditional beauty to her. She doesn't have the traditional appearance that her sister has but one cannot deny that Genevieve is fair. She's not vain but she does like to keep a good appearance for first impressions. She has a light skin complexion which she takes care to keep. Her eyes are a bright blue color and framed by long, curling lashes. Finally, the most noticeable feature is her vivid red hair. She's always been the odd one out with this hair of hers. One can spot her miles away. It can be described as pretty once a person gets past the color. It just touches the tip of her waist. Her hair can't really be described as straight or curly. It just falls into a place between the two descriptions.
GOALS: What are the goals of this young lady? She knows that she can't help but she wishes for her family to be together again. She can't help it. She knows that it's a childish wish. She tries to think of any way to keep her family together. Her second goal is like any other girls'. It is to live a happy life. Genevieve doesn't need a long life full of conquests. She just wants to be able to wed someone that she actually loves and have a family with him. Genevieve doesn't want an arranged marriage that is only without love in the end. She has seen people who have been forced into marriage. She could just see the sadness in their eyes.
HISTORY: On a bright spring day, Genevieve was brought into the world. She was born to the noble family of Rochechouart. She was the youngest in the family and was loved. Not too long after her birth, her younger brother, Constantine was born. It was a pleasant life. The young child wanted for nothing. She never had trouble finding her own personality. From the day she was able to talk, anyone could tell that she was her mother's child. She had a fiery temper and wouldn't let any of her brothers get away with teasing her. Apart from her temperament, she was curious as any child was. There was always a grand piano that stood in the corner of the drawing room. It was just always there. She couldn't recall anyone playing it.
One day, her curiosity got the better of her. She got up from the place that her mother set her in and marched over to the piano with purpose. Well, with as much purpose that a seven-year-old child could walk with. She climbed onto the stool and began playing with the keys. When her finger hit the first key, it felt like magic. It was as if she was meant to play the piano. She asked her parents for lessons. She proved to be a natural. In a way, she could be considered a musical prodigy. Genevieve began singing when her tutor encouraged her to. She had a beautiful voice but the piano was where her real talents lay.
Soon, the Rochechouart family traveled back to France. They were given back their lands as another king has taken the throne again. Her mother set to returning the building to its former glory. Genevieve quickly adapted to the French customs. She enjoyed watching the building being restored. It was fun to her. There was a whirlwind of planning and decorating. Genevieve wasn't very close to her father as she grew up. He was often at court. She spent time with her sister and mother more. She respected her mother and thought of her as a role model of sorts. Days were spent roaming the gardens, practicing the piano, and studying. She wasn't raised to be a fool. Aside from the time she spent playing the piano, she enjoyed reading the books that filled the library.
When the house was finished, parties and balls were thrown. It was to perhaps, flaunt the fact that the family was once again at large. Occasionally, she was asked to entertain the guests. It was the only thing that she enjoyed about the parties. She didn't fancy being insulted by the older women. They were aristocrats. They could find any fault within a second and didn't waste time in pointing them out. Soon, word reached the court of her musical talent. She was invited to play for the lords and ladies. She was glad that she was able to bring some honor to the family since she was talented enough to entertain at court.

ROLEPLAY SAMPLE: Lily sat on a bench on the grounds of Hogwarts. A book was placed on her hands. As she skimmed the pages, she tapped her foot on the ground. Studying was just plain boring in her opinion. She never cared for it and probably never would. She tried to stay focus but couldn't! For a moment, she looked up just in time to see her cousin pass by. The situation didn't look good in her eyes. The Head of House was taking her. The only thing that meant was trouble. Lily bit her lip and stood up. Knowing that the professor wouldn't take too kindly to her defending Roxy, she followed along quietly. She was careful to not let the Head of House see her. She trailed along, several paces behind them. Her eyes followed the teacher and Roxy heading into the office. The door slammed with a shut behind them. Lily stood casually by the door, leaning against the wall. She knew that even though the walls were thick, she could hear everything. Years of listening for footsteps came in handy. The teacher's screaming also helped. She heard the accusations.
She had always been a hot-tempered girl and this didn't help the situation much. She burst through the door. "How could you accuse her of such a weak prank?" she exclaimed with anger. Honestly, this was an insult to their pranking. They could pull off way better than that. Unfortunately, this only made things worse for her. Detention! She was given detention. How dare he! Normally, she wouldn't care but this wasn't fair! Sure, they've played pranks before but the school should've known their style by now. Their schemes were way more elaborate and well thought-out. This prank was just weak. Pathetic, a person could say. Lily was infuriated. Sick of it, she stomped off towards the Gryffindor Common Room. When she reached her dorm, she began ranting to her best friend. Sometimes, she absolutely adored her best friend. She took her ranting and only nodded understandingly. Finally, she was done. She waited until it was time to report for detention. She just laid on her bed. She tossed and turned until the time came.
She marched off to detention with fury. She slammed the portrait door shut, causing the portrait of the Fat Lady to begin lecturing her. Usually, she'd brush it off but she was just annoyed today. "Why can't you just shut up?" she muttered. She went quickly down the steps and headed to meet the professor. How surprising! She and Roxy were given separate detentions. Lily got the easier end of the stick. She mostly took the hit from bursting into the classroom and screaming at the professor. She just has to write some lines. Roxy got the worst punishment. She had to clean the trophies without magic. That was probably the worst one imaginable. An hour later, she emerged from the detention room. She quickly headed up to her dorm. It was easy for to fall asleep. It was already late in the night. She hadn't exactly been the most joyful person in the world. The writing sessions were held off since she stood her ground and refused to do it until the professor threatened to write to her parents. It wasn't really her dad that she was afraid of. Her mum was the one. Well, anyone could see that Lily got her personality from her mother.
The morning came with the bright lights shining upon her eyes. She winced when she opened her eyes. The brightness from the sun began hurting her eyes. She sat up dazedly. She gazed around the dorm and found that her roommates were already gone. It must have been pretty late in the day. She felt calmer today. Lily was in happier moods today and greeted the Gryffindor first-years cheerfully. She met up with her friends in the Great Hall and ate some breakfast. The next thing she did was practice a little on the Quidditch Pitch. She did have to practice or her skills would suffer. The last thing she wanted was to lose to Slytherin. Later in the night, Lily headed up to her dorm. She found a note on her bed. She grinned when she saw what it was. Quickly, she burned the note with a simple spell. She had already memorized the details. She needed to meet Roxy at the usual place. Slowly, her roommates headed to bed. When the last girl's breathing became even, she slipped out of her bed quietly. With the stealth that had become so easy to master over the years, she headed to the kitchen. A grin was placed upon her face. She tickled the pear and the portrait swung open to reveal her cousin.
