FABIENPLACIDEBAHORELenergetic • witty • forward Bahorel might look like he's on the sideline with the great figureheads Enjolras, Combeferre and Courfeyrac lead from the front, but that doesn't mean he's not into this operation, he might even be the one egging the more reluctant ones onward in his own way. He has been part of minor skirmishes and uprisings before and he loves their thrill. He has a big mouth that can offend as well as instigate, and while he is not an idealistic revolutionary, he'll be the last one to get sidetracked. After all, what more fun is there than starting a riot, and even better if it's for the right reasons?!
» ALWAYS LOOKING FOR A THRILL Apart from his big mouth, Bahorel doesn't have any problems with blending into a group, he is a well-liked fellow and very good company as long as he is not challenged too much. While he loves wine and girls the most and takes little things seriously, he is fiercely loyal to his friends and will not step down once things get heated. Each and every one of Les Amis has got a place in his heart, and he tirelessly tries to recruit more students to their cause. » I'M READY TO BE BLOWN AWAYBeing the cheeky fellow he is, Bahorel surely has a few enemies, but he doesn't take things like animosities very seriously. If they have a problem with him, what's it to him? Lacking the high ideals of most of his friends, he's also not against 'the rich' himself (he likes the benefits of his own large allowance too much for that) or against 'the monarchy'. 'Leave me in peace and I leave you in peace, and we both can savour life', is one of his mottos. But when violence is used to quench opposition, he's the first to raise a barricade. Freedom of speech, yes?! » I LOVE THE CHAOSBahorel loves the attention of women, he surely is quite a dandy and ladies' man, but he hasn't chosen a favourite. Why even, if there are so many around? Why settle down while you're young, he's surely influenced there by his uncle, the everlasting bachelor. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - made by leiannasaur on caution 2.0 ![/blockquote]

Bahorel! I could practically squee.
Anyway! Of course I always want to plot with Bahorel.
Feuilly and Bahorel have plenty of reason to interact, though (as much as sometimes they seem like the token worker and peasant, haha) they're not very similar in reasons, personalities, etc. Still, Feuilly certainly respects him and views him as a friend. I doubt they'd ever clash (even if Feuilly is much more restrained most of the time!), though I could easily see Bahorel as having intimidated Feuilly a bit before he decided he really fit in with the Amis.
If Victor and Bahorel ever met out drinking, they would probably bizarrely get along. As long as Victor had had enough to drink not to take a "...Ew. Rabble" position, and Bahorel didn't punch him immediately if he ever let such an opinion slip. But they seem to have similar pastimes : P Despite Victor being extremely loyal to the state and Bahorel being... Bahorel.
Montparnasse and Bahorel just seems like bad news. Parnasse would see him as an easy target for pickpocketing... But Parnasse's version of watching the world burn relies on scavenging rather than starting the fire himself XD
Henri and Bahorel would likely get along better than Henri would think they would, but the chances for that are relatively limited as long as Henri is outside the city. That said, when the Sacred Heart does come to the assistance of the Amis in the uprising, Henri's forces are largely peasant in origin and might be of interest to Bahorel?

Bahorel&Feuilly: Daww intimidated? Bahorel would be torn between 'hehehe' and 'oops' if he ever heard of that! I could see Bahorel seeing Feuilly as a poorer version of himself concerning background, someone who did not have the luck he had, and therefore he would always feel like he owed him something, trying extra hard to cheer him up, visiting him in the shop (until Feuilly maybe softly broke to him that he might be bad for business ) and fetching him for meetings. Bahorel&Victor: OMG I just had the hilarious notion of Bahorel being so tipsy that he would try to test if Victor might be recruited for their cause! Like, not actually giving details away, but starting to rant about the system, just to see how Victor reacts, while they both have a woman on their knee Montparnasse&Bahorel: LOL, two dandies together, that might be funny. If Bahorel felt like it, he might tease Montparnasse about his style, just to see if he would explode (reckless to a fault) Did you notice that the words 'just to see' appear very often here? ^^ Bahorel&Henri: Barricade plotting!!! OMG I just had the worst image in my head, a way how I could get Bahorel killed... I shall PM you details!

Feuilly & Bahorel: Intimidated because Bahorel seems to be filled with bounding energy and Feuilly doesn't yet know if he's really welcome, at first XD But he warms up quickly, I think. That would be a very interesting relationship between them, if Bahorel considers Feuilly something of a poorer version of his own background. Feuilly would appreciate the friendship, though as evidenced by the thread with Jehan in the past--if you want an irritated Feuilly, unexpectedly almost get him fired! LOL He'll bristle. But he would enjoy the camaraderie of having someone to walk to meetings with and so on.
Victor & Bahorel: That. Would be hilarious. Absolutely, utterly hilarious. And they would certainly both have women on their knees!
Montparnasse & Bahorel: Hahaha, that would be funny. Parnasse would be a bit "...What -are- you, and why are you teasing me?" I think, because I don't get the impression people he views as possible prey usually banter with him. For all his annoyance with Eponine consorting with students... hehehe.
Henri & Bahorel: Replied to the PM. Poor Bahorel. Symbolically something, then, too... at least among the Amis, then, they're killing peasants... and most of the casualties among Henri's will probably be peasants too... Now I have some urge to actually think about the symbolism of who (and therefore what) lives and dies on the barricades in this AU.

Feuilly&Bahorel: Awww, not welcome?? All Bahorel will say to this is: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ry_fR5H1GYw tehehe <3 Maybe we should do just this kind of a thread, Bahorel snooping around in Feuilly's shop trying to prise him out of work early so they can have a little leisure walk first before they have to be at the café or headquarter Monty&Bahorel: Oh, I'd like to see Bahorel getting in trouble with his loud mouth it's surely not nice to piss Monty off, Mylie knows that as well ^^
