Another stupid question inc

How long will this event last for ?

so then this question is about the evening events I get that there will be two big threads for everyone to join but will we be allowed to make smaller threads in that evening area to maybe have our characters getting ready around that time like a hour or so before the actual event. Or is it Just those Two big threads ?
