The May pole was at the centre of the day's festivities, it was where many of the population had gone to celebrate, and for many different reasons. lots of the people here were having fun, it was here they could get away from their troubles and just relax and get lost in the moment, it seemed everyone integrated well with each other, forgetting as well about their differences, the young and old the poor and rich. There was some grumblings but most seemed to not really care, they were enjoying themselves, there was no point in getting themselves down in the dumps over it at the moment. Nothing was truly different though you could still see a small divide between the two groups but there was no tension, well for now at least. Not everyone who was there was taking part though, some had taken to enjoying the May Pole in other ways more suited to them. There was just as many who watched from the side lines as was taking part, some were watching just for to see the enjoyment of others, it was all they needed, others found enjoyment in watching such a thing, there was also others within the spectators who were clapping along providing that needed added atmosphere for people to enjoy.
It was not known how many were here, there was too many to count, but the crowd of spectators came and went, just as much as the people who joined in with the other up at the May Pole itself, so it was not like the people could not move, so it was not overly crowded, but it was almost completely impossible to make a perfect head count, you would be there all day plus the people circulated, meaning they moved elsewhere you would end up losing count, losing track get befuddled to the point where there just would be no point in continuing what you were doing. Maximi.......... no Max had been at the celebration for some time having been hanging around the flower stand for some part of the day. That was not important what was important now was that max had finally got bored of the scent of those amazingly beautiful flowers; or maybe it was something else? Maybe he had seen someone he knew or maybe he just felt he needed a change of scenery? Either way Max was within the vicinity of the May Pole now, what brought him here and made him vamoose from the Flowers stand, be it a person that he knew he had arrived here that remained to be seen.
The May Pole was not as busy as it could be but there were a few people around, more were coming every second and you could tell the atmosphere within the crowd was ecstatic. This actually looks like a lot of fun I might join in, I want to watch for now though just get a feel for it. Max smiled to himself bringing his cap up a bit as he did, he was still in his gamin disguise. A Disguise worn more and more it was almost as if Max had become a proper Gamin, he may as well have left his real home all together. Enough of that Spoil sport today is supposed to be a Happy day, and Happy Max was grinning some as he watched a young couple merrily dance their way around the May Pole without a care in the world. This was certainly a Place to forget your troubles , though Max was not going to forget them entirely part of him could not shake the feeling that in this day as a whole something was going to go incredibly wrong.

NO ONE DIES UPON A KISS ONLY FOOLS BELIEVE IN BLISS As Margo emerged from the mystic's tent, strange feelings of wonder and wariness filled her. She was still not certain what the future held for herself and Percy, but the mystic had given them some ideas of what might happen. More than anything else, it had made Margo aware of what was on her mind most of all. The mystic had probably just said general things that could be applied to more than one area of her life, but Margo knew where her worries lay. She also knew that something might be able to take her mind away from her worries, however, here at the street fair. The smell of flowers and food filled the air, and since her morning sickness had left her, the different scents and sights no longer bothered her.
One sight she was not expecting was the same gamin boy who she had given money in Calais. At first, she was not certain that it was him. After all, they had not spent a lot of time together; it had been only when a moment, first seeing him in the street, and then getting out of the carriage to give him money, but the first had only been from a distance, and the second for only an instant. Then she had gotten into the carriage once more and they had been off. For another thing, she had been feeling ill and dizzy at the time. But now, her senses were clear, albeit assaulted by so many sources of stimulation that she was almost overwhelmed. Yet, as she moved away from the mystic's tent and closer to the May Pole, she became increasingly certain that it was him.
“Percy,” she whispered, tugging his arm to draw his attention to the boy. “Is that...?” She trailed off, her words carried away anyway in the noise from the crowd. Everyone around them was cheering and clapping for a happy young couple rounding the May Pole, and Margo found herself smiling as well. She could hardly have induced Percy to dance with her, but that didn't mean she couldn't enjoy the sight of someone else doing so without being bitter.
As the dance ended, she made her way closer to the boy. “Bonjour,” she greeted simply, not wanting to frighten him if he didn't remember her. “I hope you are enjoying yourself?”

Watching on as the dancers continued around and around and around the may pole, and the crowd continued with its clapping, even Max started to feel rather lost in the moment. It was quite easy to do so considering how much everyone around him was just enjoying it and the people around the pole were having plenty of fun and not only that they were putting on quite the show, it was not just fun but entertaining. The way they were doing it was if they had been dancing around this pole their whole life, two of them had obviously been in love with each other by the way they were reacting to each other during it. The two were also fueled by the crowd , as if they thrived on the attention, the others were also lost in the moment but not as much as the couple up there, enjoying every second of each others company and the dance around the pole. Max himself found as was said a bit more involved there was a smile on his face and while not as energetically clapping but he had started, picking up on the enjoyment of the crowd and deciding it was best to just let himself go somewhat.
The dance had ended and with it came a new surprise, as some of the crowd dispersed and others joined and those on the maypole joined the crowd, and other's stepped up to the maypole waiting for new music to start up again. well as this happened the surprise happened, something that Max had not been expecting and nearly made him jump.
Lady Blakeney the wife of Sir Percy Blakeney joined him standing next to him in the crowd, Oh, this was unexpected, is Percy here?, before saying anything he glanced behind him noticing Percy in the background, he hoped he was not here to check up on him, he had nothing for him right now it put him on edge for now. He looked at Lady Blakeney a look of recognition on his face, he smiled "Bonjour" he responded tipping his hat a little he grinned a little at her question " I am, today is great," he was not entirely sure about what to do here, Max had slipped into his other accent as quick as possible, making sure not to mess up otherwise Percy might string him up if his Wife found out. He smiled at her agan before glancing at the maypole they still seemed to be waiting for more people.
