Found this map of how Paris looked and was mapped out in 1830 (prior to the re-planning created by Napoleon III). It's a very large map that requires you to zoom in to the actually see the locales, but when combined with the map above will paint an accurate portrait of how the city looked back then, complete with all the old military barracks, winding streets that got replaced by the large boulevards in the 1850's, and is just a great resource in general. upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/1/16/Paris_map_of_1830_published_by_Goujon_and_Andriveau_-_Gallica.jpg |
