INFO ♔ Lucien is the only legitimate son of a powerfuö Marquis, and he acts on it with every inch. He is arrogant, often ruthless and inconsiderate of others, and basically thinks the world belongs to him. He loves to provoke people into duels, so he can show his prowess with the rapier, and treats everyone below him in status in a most condescending manner. He is his father's spokesman in the Chouannerie, the group of nobles that planned that coup d'etat and set the child king Henri on the throne two years ago, and therefore you can guess where his loyalties lie: with himself and with the aristocrats only.

ENEMIES ♔ Given his personality, this young man will have quite a few enemies, that is for sure. People he slighted, people he injured or threatened in duels, fathers of girls he seduced and then dropped, dishonoured, but most of all his enemies will be those going with the ludicrous idea of a republic. Those of his status who find something wrong with aristocratic dominance are clearly blood traitors to him and a disgrace, and just don't let him even get started on this vermin on the streets!

FRIENDS ♔ Lucien will probably only have friends amongst his own kind, and since he's not the most amiable man even to them, true friends will be far and few between. There are a few people holding his respect, and he loves to spend time amongst his own kind on the Military Accademy of Saint Cyr in Paris, drinking, gambling and fighting duels. Closer acquaintances are those with the Chouannerie.

LOVERS ♔ Lucien is a good-looking man of some wealth, and of course he's also got the military bonus, so he might be able to sway a few girls. Be careful though, his ruthless streak shows also in the way he treats women. He cultivates the 'dangerous, and you want it' air, but he doesn't really feel for the women he seduces. Once he has what he wanted, he will show his true face and drop them without a second thought. As a bit of a chauvinist, he dislikes too much spunk in girls and would rather have them submissive and fawning over him, but there is one exception: Should a woman turn out to appear as ruthless and arrogant as he likes to see himself, he will be thoroughly intrigued and rise to the challenge, if only to see who will win out in the end. One day he will have to marry, yes, and it best should be a girl with some wealth, a nice face and not too boring.

Max: Im sure would of heard of Lucien, Max won't like him certainly and something tells me Lucien wont like Max one bit. Even mroe so considering Max is an aristocrat who is a republican something Lucien seems to hate right ?

Nathaniel: Well enimies certainly I just don't see these two getting on and i'm not entirely sure but Lucien seems the type of guy who would be a pain in the backside if he knew who Nate was. Nate does like a duel if he personally hates someone though.

Richard: well he likes power right I could see Richard trying to get Lucien on side for his own agenda and political projects that Richard would spin as a way to help Lucien gain power certainly. He is certainly one for deals and having they high up contacts plus he is a friend of the Chouannerie, as well.

Max&Lucien:
I thought Max is keeping his affiliation a secret So, logically Lucien wouldn't know about it. Other than that, he's nothing but a kid, so Lucien would probably not really speak to him at all, unless it was inevitable. He doesn't do well with kids, finds them a waste of space,, even though he might be acquainted with the family. What are they again, what sort of noble rank does his father have? Comte? Viscomte?

Nathaniel:
Well, he's no aristocrat, and EWW he's Sacred (or Scared ) Heart !! I think these two would clash, and good! Maybe they could meet when Lucien has to lead a little patrol into the forest as part of his military duties. Or they meet while Lucien's waiting for a duelling opponent in the Jardin du Luxembourg, but his opponent doesn't show. Would Nate be in the jardin early in the morning?^^

Richard:
Hmm... if he has contacts to the Chouannerie, then they probably know each other. But Lucien would tell him quickly that he does not desire to be a politician, but gain power through other means. And then he would of course make known he does not need the help of a commoner and and ENGLISHMAN (France and England were archenemies back then) to get what he wants But Richard can of course try his luck, he just needs a thick skin, be warned!

Max: Well yes he is but I don't see his father stay ignorant for ever he's not that stupid. Anyway yeah most likely won't know about it. Status wise his father is a Baronet I t think is what I asked Slayer about. However he also owns quite a lot of ammunitions and gunpowder factories in France something that's helped his status tremendously. Max won't like being considered a waste of space not that he would know unless lucien said something out right

Those are some good ideas I could see a little clash with Nate in the forest certainly maybe if Nathaniel is heading into Paris at the time. Maybe Lucien sees something up with Nate as he patrols, im sure most people were stopped just to check them. Jardin hmm well maybe if he was in paris overnight and he was hoping to catch some entertainment or talk to a contact/ally he had made there, I would certainly find either the Jardin or the patrol idea grand. "sees fun"

Richard: Well he was one of those who helped to supply them and support them and such. And don't worry about Richard he is used to people acting that way. Though he would certainly try find ways to persuade Lucien. I'm not sure he could be considered a commoner though

Hahaha, yeah... ruthless and arrogant AND toxically beautiful... it might just be a challenge he won't be able to resist. "How do you torture a masochist if he wants to feel pain? You say 'No!' " Sorry, couldn't pass that bit up, I guess getting them interact could be a little Dance with the Devil.
And OMG, if we really get the waltz thing going... we should do a thread between them dancing a waltz, and call it "Dance with the Devil"... since one of Lucien's nicknames is Lucifer

Andre: Is a LTC in the French Foreign Legion, and is in Paris in an attempt to gain more funding. It'd be an interesting conversation between the two, Andre would more likely than not call Lucien a "pup" who has yet to taste actual war. Though who knows, perhaps they'd actually hit it off well and have a really cool mentor/mentee style relationship if Lucien can get past the fact that Andre is actually from the middle class and not the aristocracy. Lucien could learn a lot from a man who has seen the hell that is Algeria.

Also... They may end up fighting on the opposite sides of the revolution... But that bridge will be crossed when they arrive.

Hahha oh this could be interesting indeed!
Lucien is a sticler to status, so while Andre can be 'arrogant' in calling him a rookie or something, Lucien can look down on him concerning his birth ^^ This could be fun to plot out. Be warned, he'd probably challenge him to a duel, not life-and-death perhaps, but he takes offense for the sport of it. Is Andre good at fightingwith a blade? If so, he might actually gain Lucien's respect and he would be willing to be getting a tip or two from the older and more experienced man. Though of course he would still be mostly an arrogant git ^^ can you deal with that?

Andre's an officer, so it would make sense that he has some skill with a blade. Especially after having used it quite a bit... Just not for duels. Be warned, he doesn't fight "fair," if he agrees to duel at all. Which, depending on the convo, he actually may and sarcastically joke about how Lucien's "lowering himself" or something.

Also, expect Andre to say things along the lines of how nobility bleed the same as common men. He will intend to part knowledge on Lucien whether he wants it or not

pahaha I like the sound of that! Okay, we need an intitial meeting scenario for them. Any ideas? Lucien's usually around the academy, would Andre have any reason to be there?

Well, it is his old alma mater, so it's entirely possible he'd be there perhaps a day or so before meeting with the king/counselors to tour the grounds or perhaps give a speech to cadets on the situation there and how to lead men into battle. Perhaps Lucien could decide to sit in on it out of curiosity towards what exactly the Legion is?

Yeah, he'd certainly be curious about what this man has to say, even though he'snot the war type,my Lucien ^^ if anything he'd like to give orders but stay back so he doesn't have to do the too dirty work What about perhaps Andre approaches him after the speech,since he somehow observed Lucien often pulling faces and rolling his eyes, whispering to his neighbour or such? ^^

So long as he doesn't get too disruptive, or cause anyone to break out giggling, Andre would definitely wait to see him after.

And "stay in the back" is actually the complete opposite of Andre's style of leadership, and the entire speech will be about how leadership from the front is the only way to truly motivate your soldiers so... Should be an interesting conversation.
