Louis and Eponine Daughter of a Wolf indeed. Eponine Thenardier has possibly the scariest father in the city (Valjean's not really much scarier than T-Man purely because T-Man has no godliness) but rest assured Ponine is safe around her father, he won't hit her, he won't shout at her, he wouldn't so much as raise a hand to her even if she raised one to him. He loves Eponine like nothing else and will protect and care for her and provide for her as best as he can (he's actually rather wealthy  so new dresses/shoes and perhaps some other minor things might help) but I imagine Eponine will shirk all of the trappings of his criminality and it's why she dresses the way she does etc. Anything so much as touches or hurts her. They're dead no questions asked or answered <3 so let's get something plotted  |

I can just imagine that Eponine stubbornly refuses to tell him (or anyone really) when she is hurt, for that very reason. Robbing someone is one thing. Something she says sparking events that led to someone getting killed is something else entirely. This probably is the biggest reason she's such a private guarded person.
As for why she doesn't take his money, I see her as not wanting to be in his debt. She's seen him do some things to people who are indebted to him. Even though he does love her, she's rather not test the limits of that, taking money from him for frivolities.
I'd love to get plotting with the Thenardier family!

Azelma is Eponine's little sister, the girl has no backbone and does whatever she is told when she is told, so the pair are extremely different....As far as i see it Azelma looks up to her elder sister because she has the courage to do what she wants and isnt worried about gaining disapproval.

'Zelma! Yay! I see Eponine having almost a motherly care for her siblings, especially Azelma. To the point that while M Thenardier may harm anyone who dares hurt his girls, he only gets the pieces of some who hurts Azelma after Eponine is done with them. I would love to hear any ideas you have.

Louis and 'Ponie She can be in as much debt with her father as anyone could ever be and he'd forget it if she asked him too  (HE LOVES HER THAT MUCH) he's going to be the one wanting to pay for her dress to this ball and he'll of course want to accompany her but probably not be allowed. I think he's just over-protective, overzealous and perhaps dare I say it, he loves Eponine too much for her own good. It's why he basically wrapped her in cotton wool when she was a small girl and now he can't do that he just get's all the more anxious |

I think...I remember us saying something about Eponine developing a bit of a dislike for Musa, and I can definitely see it xD Erin and I planned something with Musa and Azelma, so I don't know how Ponine would feel about her trying to slowly befriend her sister...but honestly, I kinda see Musa being quite not oblivious, but unknowing to Ponine's feelings about her, she'd try and be polite really, avoid any real confrontations as such with her.

Soo... I have an idea for a little plot that could come up after the barricades. Parnasse knows, of course, that Eponine has affections for... men that are not him. He also has killed folks for a lot less. He wants to make an impression on her, but at the same time doesn't want her to hate him (and they are player characters and can't be killed off all willy-nilly, haha)... so what if he started to kill people in proximity to her to make a point? As a threat, and one he would be very careful about covering his tracks while still leaving it painfully obvious to her that he's the one doing it.
Just a thought! It could easily pull in a lot more characters on the site, as she's so well-known the rest of the Amis and so on. And with the political upheaval... the police are unlikely to catch him (even beyond his own skill).
