There was seriously a mystic at the event, wow now that while not surprising to Nathaniel Re Denei it seemed quite a humorous, it would be great for those imbecilic fools that did indeed believe or those that were well just total mugs, who deserved to have their money taken away from them. Nathaniel however saw this all as a bit of fun that could be taken lightly, yeah he would be giving money to the fraud, but as long as it was taken, as if it were a little bit of fun then you were not really being swindled were you? It was not like Nate was tight for cash unlike some here who could barely bare to part with their money, yet the fools would anyway; they flocked to this place like lambs to the slaughter throwing their money away, on stupid idiotic things. Nate had decided he would venture into the tent to find out what this Mystic actually had in store, he wanted to see the fuss even though he did not truly believe, something comical would happen no doubt, false predictions always were, nothing could get Nate to believe in the mumbo jumbo, short of a ghost appearing right in front of him. Like that would happen hey.
Right now was the perfect time the Mystics tent was not occupied, by anyone other than the mystic Dymphna herself, or so he heard was her name, he very much doubted this, it was most likely a stage name. He walked closer to the tent smiling to himself, Here I go then of to see My True fate, or so she says. He Entered into the tent instantly noticing how dimly lit the room was, it took him a while to adjust to it Light gets in the way of the readings does, he quipped to himself, taking a quick glance around the tent. This place if he did not know it was a mystic who set up camp here had all the makings an obsessed lunatic’s tent; it had everything both a mystic and lunatic would need. He was still glancing around when a voice came from the darkness of the ten, Nathaniel rolled his eyes not surprised or amused in the slightest Cheap tricks is it? He returned her smile out of nothing but politeness, she was very into the role, the women even looked the part he would give that point to her.
Once she indicated the chair he bowed in a thank you and sat down as soon as possible wanting to get to the good stuff, he wanted to see what this mystic could really cook up, would it be some of the usual rubbish or something more exciting. He waited for her to speak again already feeling bored and this woman would be unnerving to most, she was a tiny bit for Nate but he got over it quick. "Tarot Card reading please," He said deciding to go for that, watching her as she went to work fascinated by how she did it, his eyes darted about watching her every movement. "Will there be any happiness in my life?" He asked seriously deciding upon a very basic question that he was sure would have a very comical answer to, Nate sat back and waited for the answer watching the Mystic at work, almost feeling like he should laugh.

The mystic began to lay the cards down on the table, her eyes focused on the cards that she drew…The Lovers, The Tower and the Hanged Man…The mystic ran her hands across the cards, a flicker of sadness darted across her face for a moment as she read them.
‘I see a crossroad in your life; the Hanged Man tells me you must make a choice, let go of an old wish. The hanged man crossed with the lovers…tells me you are ambivalent about something, a past lover? A work choice?’ she questioned, ‘the cards are telling me you must be careful when crossing love with work, this is not a good omen. The tower…well the tower suggests that you are missing someone? Someone you thought you could rely on?’ she asked again.
The mystic paused nodding confidently, ‘the cards are telling me the answer to your question is within you. You need to let go of a wish, be careful about your work choices and above all move on. Then you will find the answer to your question’ she said, leaning back in her chair to observe her client.
‘I hope you found the answer to your question’ she said, ‘the cards are very clear today’.

Nate did not laugh like he was thinking, there was no point, not worth the effort and too be honest the lady was getting by doing her own living it would be impolite to laugh at her. Did not mean that her line of work was no more real than ghosts and other creatures of the night were. Really it was useful for those seeking a bit of comfort or just look to spend their money on something fun, but that was it really nothing mystical about it, quite a lot of it was reading the costumer as well or so Nathaniel believed.
Out of respect for the lady Nate stayed and listened to see what card's she would pull out, and what she could come up with. What Mystical future awaits me I wonder? Death or Love maybe? Come on it’s got to be something simple. He watched patiently as each card was placed face up on the table bridging the gap between them. One Looked like a man hanging That must be a Hangman Card, that one is obviously a Tower. He was brought out of his thoughts by the mystics voice as she began to tell him what they meant, he noticed the flicker of sadness and smiled Predictable a sad one then.
What he was told rather left Nate shocked he had been expecting something simple but not being able to let go of something was near enough the truth, something he locked up close to his heart. A dead love he was never letting go of, but still this part had been unexpected to say the least, he sat there for a moment mulling it over in his head. NO I refuse to buy into this, she just got lucky, it was a simple predictable choice nothing more. He had to agree on one thing though he certainly had to be careful of work choices, you know he did not want to end up getting himself killed to soon, he had a lot to do and France needed to be rid of it's stupid king. He Smiled at her once more a cool calculated smile "Thank you very much, I see now what I must do." Yes and that's get out of this tent, he stood up giving her one last polite nod before walking out the tent.
