Someone Else's Song

This is sort of a game and sort of IC, so maybe it belongs in the games section ... but it's not entirely IC, so maybe not. I leave it up to our beloved staff to decide.

The game is simple -- think of theme song for the character above you (the first responder can either use Chauvelin or pick a character with a song burning a hole in their iPod). The songs shouldn't be too anachronistic lyrics-wise, so Supermassive Black Hole and Neon Knights are out, but beyond that imagination rules.

Hmmm for Helene. Something a little softer I believe. Mostly because she's all soft and heartfelt and naive and she's following Henri and maybe one day soon she might have to give it up.

Okay, so perhaps not the whole song... but it does have the dual/hidden identity effect going. And some implication that it can be dangerous...

Okay so this got me for a number of reasons for Henri.

1) The talk of being unsure about choices, but staying strong and keeping faith.
2) The innocence - - Henri, Helene, Nate - childhood friends etc, looking back at what was.
3) Religious tones ^^
4) Constant Angel could be - God, Helene and Nate xD
5) Just like it xD

Disregard the vid if you want (even though it somehow still fits to this constellation as well^^).
I picked this for Helene, because I think it describes her relationship and her feelings for Henri. He's the leader of the Sacred Heart, and though they're in love, he is the one always tempting fate to get caught and killed, and she wishes she could do more to make him see that she can be a valuable partner at his side, and doesn't need to be protected xD

I feel that Mylene has a big heart as well as a strong drive for justice. She stands for a lot of things that Supergirl herself stands for: justice, equality, good morals.
The thing I like about this song though is that even Supergirl needs saved sometimes and Mylene does get into tight spots. Like any other human, sometimes she needs help. But she's still kick ass!

It has the effect of a not entirely happy past, but still being hopeful and being essentially fairly strong but still sounds almost delicate. I dunno, it just seemed like it worked.
