Simplicity is a key component; she believes that everyman should be born free. Free to govern themselves and not to be ruled by a cruel hierarchy, where equality among men does not exist. Like many of the romantics, she believes in the republic, and is willing to stake her life alongside those who hold the same dream. Many of her morals have been influenced by those around her. She has seen in the actions of others, how important it is to fight for a society that governs with these beliefs. A part of Helene has never really grown up; she still holds all her childhood dreams and wishes close to her heart. She is rather naive to the ways of the world, as she has been over protected by her father and finds her new way of life a challenge, but one she is willing to face. Some might say she is a fool for not going to England and risking her life in Paris. Much like her mother Helene is extremely passionate and impulsive, which perhaps is a huge flaw for Helene as she often acts on impulse and rarely thinks of the consequences. Her hot headed passionate nature has got her into trouble on many occasions and most likely will continue to get her into trouble in the future. I Can see both Nathaniel and Helene getting on only to a degree though as im sure there are parts of his personality that puts her off, though well yeah they are part of the same Rebel group so he's not going to hate her plus they Sort of Share Vanessa so he would be thank full to her for the help. I'm not sure how she would act around him or such more up to you of course but would love a thread between these two

I think they would be like polite acquaintances, Helene perhaps holds some resentment to Nate for being close friends with Henri. Slight jealousy almost? She holds a politeness to him, but struggles to connect with him? She takes on Vanessa sometimes when hes busy, as she likes children and hopes it will help Henri in a non-direct sense.

Yeah I think that's great and should work nicely maybe Nate's not totally oblivious to her resentment and it irritates him a little, but yeah I can go for that im thinking that he may not find the fact she is naive as a good thing as he would rather her not get killed if she becomes valuable to his plans later on. Oh and he would also rather her be alive for Henri's sake. Anyway yeah I see it all working out and when we get a Vanessa if we do then i would help a lot :)

Posted an idea in Gustave's plotter for getting Gustave and Chauv to the Sacred Heart camp. Basically, the rebels get word (maybe via Maxi?) of a government courier passing nearby, so they ambush him (Chauv) and his guard (Gus). For some reason they don't just kill them -- maybe the SH isn't that bloodthirsty, or maybe just Helene isn't and she intervenes to have them taken prisoner instead?

So we were talking about a thread for in the Sacred Heart Camp with Helen and Nate with Henri popping in when he got one (which looks very likely)

Anyway here is my idea they are not the best and wont be veryd detailed not my best idea I am pretty tired.

So the idea is more a mixture of things, like the problems that the camp itself is facing with so many people to be looked after and such. Henri himself and all the stress maybe Helen blames Nate for not taking the stress of him or something. Also it could have them talking about Vanessa a little bit maybe Helene wants to know more about her family and stuff though Im not sure she would ask that. But yeah what do you think can we build on this the inner workings of the camp and stuff like show the camp life.

I think maybe a thread between these two regarding Vanessa, I know that Helene is concerned about her welfare and about Nates attitude towards the camp. She will likely throw something in about how Nate could be doing more for Henri too. She doesnt dislike Nate, but I think theres defo a small amount of jealously there

Yeah that sounds good maybe she catches Nathaniel when hes a bit more stressed or tired than usual because those continuous visits to Paris sure would be tiring. And obviously he has actually been helping Henri

And the jealousy thing could be fun yeah I think it could work should we also leave it open for Ashely to jump in as Henri ?

Ohh what do you think would be the best port of call? i think at some point in the future a thread with the pigsty peeps aka chauv and gus would be fun!

We could perhaps do a thread with the two just in general to see how they go? Perhaps they are discussing the sacred heart and where its really going? etc etc

Any of that is perfectly fine with me! It probably does make sense to have a thread of the two of them first, I suppose, but again--whatever is perfectly okay with me.
