Spoke to Nate about plotting. --- Hey! Percy would most certainly enjoy the attention from Gustave, he loves a good challenge! I can see Gustave being another thorn in Percy's behind. That sounds interesting, perhaps Percy will rescue someone that Gustave sympathizes with, which is why he lets them go. (I know this might be rare for Gustave, but you never know). I can also see Percy taking some pleasure in foiling some of Gustaves plans/jobs, he does enjoy confounding the Frenchies It would also be interesting to see Percy from another side, captured/cornered too.

So, Gus, an obsession with catching the Pimpernel, eh? Welcome to my world. I see you're back in Paris, Lord Percy. Planning to visit your aristo friends at the palace? That gets me thinking (which is one of the signs of the coming Apocalypse). There was an idea kicked around in the cbox yesterday about a masquerade ball. Masks! Disguises Costumes! Lord and Lady Pimpernel getting up to mischief. Maxi sneaking about. Chauvelin in the perfect disguise of an excellent cravat. Mistaken identities. Intrigue. Debauchery. Mustn't forget the debauchery. A nasty bunch of aristos with some particularly ugly entertainment planned?

Oh that sounds delightful I think I mentioned the masks and everyone went from there, Maxi would most likely be sneaking about as his Aristocrat self though in a setting like that and because he's still a young lad I'm sure he would still be a lot less noticeable than the adults would be. Love the idea lots an lots of fun to be had at a Ball event lets all have a who killed Cornell mustard in the libray nice time ;)

Shuffle-on? In a well tied cravat!? Sink me! *shock face* Im going to be rather mysterious here and say...in time Chauvelin, in time...you may find your plans might fall into place...
Percy is wonderfully excited to have his 'best friend' back, Chauv had better keep his frenchie mitts off Percy's wife! Im pretty much up for anything. I just love the banter xD
(sorry i didnt reply till now, must have missed these posts!)

Richard and Percy They would both know each other of course Percy as you said is very popular and well Known Dandy and well Richard is a well known and very prominent political figure in the British Government, having spent years upon year building up his reputation. Percy and Richard are all so the same age but anyway I see them as having met at some time in the past maybe only briefly at some social occasion, they might get on in some respect, Richard may certainly find Percy interesting to talk to. Not sure if they would like each other entirely though. While they don't live in France Richard's family certainly have an estate there that His Wife and Children will often go to for certain periods of time, and due to how bad things are getting in France, Richard is thinking of getting them out of France entirely maybe a certain Pimpernel has gotten wind of this, through a certain informant that happens to have a small connection to Richards wife. What do you think ?

can i just confirm what Richards political views are? I think that would greatly influence Percys thoughts on him. Im sure they will have met at social gatherings as they move in similar circles.
I think as Richards British himself, and high up in politics Percy wouldnt see the family in any current danger as I think England would demand that Richard and his family are returned safely. Percy may, however advise somehow that the family cut their visit to France short, if they are still there during the gov change?

Richards Political views are more on the conservative side of things with him being part of the conservative party. He upholds some of the values of both Traditional and National Conservatism he is certainly a supporter of Law and order Politics. and Of course he heavily supports the Monarchy so that would be above thsoe other views Yeah I definitely agree that they would of met in social gatherings
Yeah makes sense to me though If he has not left France by the time of government change it would be due to his wife who loves France, even though she knows its getting dangerous. Richard would most likely agree with Percy on the advice to get out, even though he himself is fascinated by France.

Percy & Victor: As I was writing Victor's history, it occurred to me that his father may have met the Pimpernel somewhere along the way as he was involved in the fighting while Victor was still too young to be involved in the bloody work. Though I don't see Victor as being incredibly likely to need rescue—he is, of course, quite a capable fighter in his own right and it would be hard to find a better rider—I could see an eventual alliance of sorts between the two of them when things get bad again. And even before then, I would imagine it quite possible for them to meet... I just haven't thought of the details of that so much. If the League needs assistance of the monarchist cavalry officer variety, Victor's their man. Percy & Henri: Which the above thinking about Percy and Victor made me wonder about the fate of Henri's mother when things get bad. Henri does love his mother, but her politics are so very much not his... it would be interesting to see him make some attempt to arrange to get her to safety when he realizes that heads are about to roll. Provided he's in a place and condition to do that when the time comes, of course. Percy & Feuilly: ...Yeah, I've got nothin'. Unless Percy requires a shipment of fans

Percy & Victor - Ah yes! Percy would love some more people to help him and infact could do with somemore skilled fighters! There have been occasions in the stories, where Percy has had someone working for him in the French Gov/military and had his men disguised as troops, perhaps a plan like this could come into action at some point?
Percy & Henri - This sounds great, we know Percy will be in the area soon as hes on the hunt for Helene and curious about Chauv! So perhaps this is when this plot can come into play also?
Percy & Feuilly - Yeh i got nothing! xD
