Preparing them would entail arming them properly, most likely. He wouldn't want them to fight, so first, he'd try to arm them with words (give them casual lessons in Rousseau, Voltaire, Locke vs. Hobbes, etc.), and then I suppose he'd teach some of them how to use a gun if they didn't already know. Reluctantly so. He would rather that this didn't get violent, but if it does, he wants them to be able to defend themselves.

Oooh, Mylie wouldn't mind a few lessons she might not be the smartest girl, but she has a quick wit and is deeply interested in learning new things. She doesn't know how to use a gun, but she has quick reflexes from learning how to juggle. Maybe we could do one of these meetings, when they talk and turn this into a lesson of things?

Eponine: Courfeyrac is probably the best of the Les Amis acquainted with Eponine. Being "Marius's shadow" means she's probably been there right alongside Courfeyrac in walks to or from meetings, etc. He might also be one of the few people to have figured out the full extent of Eponine's feelings for Marius. She'd deny them of course, but the simple fact that a look from Marius can bring out her bright smile, but flirting from Courfeyrac earns him a "seriously?" look should make it pretty clear.

That all sounds great to me! It's kind of funny, in the book Hugo has Courfeyrac as extremely observant, but he doesn't recognize Eponine in her guise as a boy when she asks where Marius is. I suppose that's just because he hasn't seen her a whole lot. But I like the idea of him knowing who Eponine is. I imagine he might flirt with her a bit at first, but when he realizes how she feels about Marius, he might kindly back off. Might. ;]

If Enjolras is the brains of the group, I've always seen Courfeyrac as the heart. He's friendly and uplifting without being boisterous like Grantaire. I like the idea of him flirting with Eponine, if for no other reason than to bring a smile to her face and lighten her mood. Cause who can really be upset when Courfeyrac is flirting with you?

Awww yay, I'm glad that's how you see him. That's what I try to communicate through him ^^ And yes, definitely, he likes making people smile, and he's good at seeing what people need. I know right?! Who can ever be upset with Courfeyrac? Hehe. (Except for Enjolras, when Courfeyrac says something bad about Rousseau, or Combferre, when Courfeyrac throws a charter in the fire... BUT I digress, and he did say "no offense.")

Any idea for threads? I figure Courfeyrac is the Barricade Boy with the easiest access to Eponine, between the care and Marius's flat. Plenty of opportunities to run into her.

Wow... I have no idea why it took me so long to see this. I'm so sorry, RoRo!
I imagine Eponine would always be asking where Marius is. Other than that... ummm... Courfeyrac probably wouldn't be stupid enough to point out to her that Combferre likes her (yikes!). I could see him flirting with her but knowing it wouldn't go anywhere. Other than that... he probably leaves her in peace because he might have picked up on how she feels about Marius.

So I think we should do that thread we talked about in the letters where Combeferre buys Courfeyrac a drink and talks about his girl problems XD

Haha, sure! I'd love if we could keep it short and sweet, as I'm trying to keep my focus on the main plot and I'm really busy with school right now, but it'll be fun!

Yeah, definitely! I would love that. The barricade should be happening somewhat soon here, and there is always the possibility of a thread in the past, too I'm having some Internet troubles so I might be a little slow for the time being, but I'd love a thread <3

I am good for anything. I just re-watched the film and they are so cute together <3
Do you have any general ideas or plots that you wanted to run through?

Sorry for the late response! Well, it seems Gavroche has found out about Courfeyrac's liaisons. Perhaps they talk a bit o' philosophy and about love? I dunno, what do you think?
