Cosette, my child <333 Cosette is Valjean's world. You're my primary thread opportunity basically haha. I'm not sure exactly what they talk about before Marius, since they don't go out much or talk about the past, BUT it would be fun to explore that!

Yup! Same here! Well I think pretty much any father/daughter opportunities are open. All those lovely awkward moments shared between the two. I also need to flesh out Cosette's character, which writing with you will definitely do! I know that in the book they do go for walks and she pretty much just hangs at his place. They also do what they do in the musical, visiting the poor and his tenants. I was thinking we could start when she was a little bit younger, form that daddy/daughter bond!
Let's see, they left the convent when she was fourteen. And moved to Rue Plumet. Then two years passed before she met Marius. Any ideas?

That all sounds great! As I said before, I'm pleased that you're so knowledgeable about the book  And you're right, obviously they have to go out sometimes haha. How else would they meet Marius? I love the idea of them visiting the poor together. Valjean would be trying to form his daughter's virtues, and would be so proud of her compassion. Awww. That could be anytime in the past or present. I'm excited <3 |

Would you be up for a thread between Maxi and Valjean not sure exactly how we would go about it but maybe Valjean gets him out of a spot of trouble when Maxi is playing at being poor going on adventures and helping out the league as an informant. Or they meet each other while hes being his normal aristocrat self any ideas ?

That sounds like fun! It would be funny if Valjean offered him alms since Max isn't really poor...
I also have Marguerite to offer you, Percy's wife. If Max works with the League, they might know each other. Margo also doesn't have any kids of her own (yet) so she would probably love to take care of Max and spoil him even though he'd probably be like, lady, I can take care of myself >>

I think we have some established plot lines for Javert and Valjean, much conflict between the two (of course) and some of their history - whats made them become the oh so famous and well loved rivals that they are today etc.

That would be extemeley funny if that happened and somewhat awkward in Maxi's he most likely feel guilty about it considering he's not poor I Could see it being a good idea :)
Yeah I could see him getting somewhat annoyed Margo and her wanting to spoil him but then being the youngest child in his family he would sort of like it as well. Maybe they also know each other in the aristocracy as well , well not know each other but have some inkling of each other as his family's at least well known in the aristocracy. I Could see Maxi using Margo for some help when it comes to the league though

Mhm! Either idea sounds great to me! I feel like I'm in rather a lot of threads right now with similar themes of Valjean handing out alms, so would you be opposed to having a thread with Margo instead?
