This is really long. I also didn't read it over... But I'M POSTIN IT because I'm indecisive and it'll take too long if I think about it too much. Also because why not and what the hey.
Hullo! I figured I'd introduce myself in some way, since I don't know most of the people on this site. :3 Alright, here we go:
• My name is Rebecca. Some of my friends call me Becks/Bex, the others just stick with Rebecca. My dad calls me Tinky. My mom calls me duck-frog (apparently when I cry, I look like a duck-frog because I'm "skinny but then I get puffy at the same time"... Makes sense? Debatable d:). Those who don't really know me call me Becca (which I don't really mind, but I'd prefer to be called Rebecca. Becks/Bex is fine by me, too. Rebecca just "feels" the best, I guess d:). I figured, since there was already a "Becks," I'd go with "Rebecca" on here (: so.. Hi!
• I took a hiatus from roleplaying about 3 years ago. This is my first time roleplaying in, well, 3 years! (: I figured I'd just kind of browse through Caution's RPG listings, and somehow I found myself in the wonderful world of DYHTPS. It appealed to me the most because I love Les Mis. I've loved the musical ever since I was a little girl. I read an abridged version of the novel in middle school, then read the unabridged version my freshman year in college (aka last year d:). I'm also kind of a fandom type of person--well, for three things: Harry Potter, A Song of Ice and Fire, and (of course) Les Miserables. And a bunch of TV shows. But... another time, maybe d:
• I'm 19.
• I sing. A lot. I am a descant soprano, and have been one in every a cappella group, choir, or musical that I've been in. There was a time when men were kind... just kidding d: There was a time when was a tenor 1 for this gospel group, but it was that good point in my singing career, when my range was obnoxiously wide (and froggy in the low parts, I might add... not so pretty). Now I just kind of train for my upper vocal register. Like actresses who play Cosette. HA (I also like all of the Les Mis characters cause they're all special in their own way--yes, even Cosette d: She's muh gurl.)
• I love music. I play guitar, ukulele, harmonica, and a little piano. I don't really hate on any type of music, because I think it's pretty impressive if someone can put a string of notes together and make somebody somewhere in the world like it, even if it's his or her mom.
EXCEPT FOR BLEEDING LOVE BY LEONA LEWIS BECAUSE I WAS SHOWERING THIS ONE TIME AND HER SONG CAME ON THE RADIO AND THE BASS WAS SO INTENSE AND THERE IT WAS SO MUGGY AND HOT THAT I THREW UP.
• I am in love with my best friend. He's also my boyfriend, so it worked out.
• I LOVE PEOPLE SO MUCH. I'M DEAD SERIOUS RIGHT NOW.
• I know I mentioned musicals... but I can't act for my life. I was always put on the way back (or even backstage for "background voices," HA). I don't even know HOW I got in to any musicals. I can't dance, either. I'm that girl at parties who everyone thinks is a hilarious drunk buuut she's not, because she hasn't even had one drink the whole night and she really just can't dance... and she's really just a completely crazy person. Who loves to dance. Sports are more my thing, I guess; I run track and play softball.
• Yellow is my favorite color. Bunnies are my favorite animals. I love fries and hot dogs and pasta and just food in general (A friend's mom called my the human disposal at one point, which I thought was hilarious). I also laugh a lot. And smile a lot.
• I have really insane ADHD, which is why it takes me a little while to respond to posts/keep on topic. But it makes me all the more awesome, I think? d:
• I enjoy my quirkiness. I know I have my own set of short comings; nobody's perfect. I like to strive towards being a better person every hour of every day of my being. BUT I like myself, overall, I think. Maybe I'll keep myself, but I still have that return slip so... d:
