Marius. <3 I would love to have a thread with my future son-in-law, though I know that might be tough before the barricade, so I am willing to wait. I imagine Valjean will be wary of him and slightly jealous, but he will endeavor to be civil for Cosette's sake, and eventually will come to see him fondly as his own son.

Marius and Grantaires relationship is never really explained, but I see besides a lot of teasing from Grantaire when Marius does fall in love, that Marius does sort of look out for the drunk, probably pities him quite a bit and tries to help get him back on the straight and narrow. We're already threading together I know.

Maxi Might be able to get on with Marius i'm not sure really what do you think. Generally i'm thinking they would get on with Maxi being rather inclined to the ideals of ABC and working as an informant for the League. Then he also has his double life of Aristocrat and poor person he often likes to help the poor though.

^let me know if that's okay to include in Marius' history! It's book canon that they are best friends and lived together for a while, but that can be edited if you'd prefer. Also book-verse but can be edited: Courf doesn't bother Marius with a lot of questions, and they get along well. Even though Courf can read his expressions and sometimes mocks him, he also looks out for Marius, as he is always willing to offer a few francs, a place to stay, succinct advice about which people to avoid, or a witty comment to lighten the mood.

I could see Nate maybe running into Marius when Nate is trying to find Enjorlas, Nate being part of the Sacred Heart would want to help Les Amis and the people in there because in a way they do sort of want the same thing. Im not sure how well they would get on though, Nates not the most open of people and he can be quite cold hearted to his enemies. He Likes a good planning session though and can be very passionate about the cause, he can be a bit of a hypocrite. He is an upper calls member also he has a huge passion for History and Historical artefacts. He believes fully a republic.

Sorry, didn't mean to seem to ignore Marius in the Into the Fire thread. Had an unexpected rl crisis arise and had to wrap the post up in a hurry. (And in Chauv's defense, he does tend to focus on Percy like a laser).

He'll register Marius in the next post and would it be okay with you if he recognizes Marius as the leader of the Friends of the ABC? Keeping track of the main players in revolutionary groups is pretty much Chauv's job.

Yeah Much like how he feels about Courf Richard won't like Marius one jot, he just does not see your point and believes your ideals flawed in every way. He does however agree with you going after COSETTE true love and all so thumbs up to that.

Oh, Messieur Marius! Hate to break it to you, but I think Mylie will be one of those teasing him for his love-talk of Cosette She's just the teasing type, and working at the ABC café, I can see her overhearing his gushes and the reaction of his friends. She definitely likes to speak her thoughts, so that might be interesting. Though, in all honesty, I can also see her envying him a bit secretly, since deep down there is a romantic hidden in this girl which years of hardship couldn't quite crush yet.
